Pepe Roselló
Space Eat&Dance is the most recent dream of the Ibizan businessman Pepe Roselló (Ibiza, 1936), creator of the legendary Space nightclub, awarded thirteen times as the best nightclub in the world.
Pepe Roselló's biography alternates calamities, strokes of fortune, unlikely anecdotes and overwhelming talent. He was born in the middle of the Civil War and grew up in the suburb of San Antoni de Portmany, among farmers, fishermen and emigrants. As a pioneer, he has experienced first-hand the transformation of Ibiza and, in its restaurants and nightclubs, he has rubbed shoulders with artists, monarchs, millionaires, hippies, counterfeiters, opera divas and all the amazing fauna of that mythical island.
Pepe has owned clubs all his life, starting with the pioneering Playboy in San Antonio as early as 1963 and opening Playboy 2 in the late 1970s. In 1989, Pepe took over Space Ibiza nightclub in Platja d'en Bossa, his breakthrough success, making him the world's most successful entertainment entrepreneur.

Sant Antoni i Ses Variades
Space Eat&Dance opened its doors on 30 July 2022, in an old restaurant next to the sea, built in the 1950s by two good friends of Pepe's: María Palou and Klaus Silverstein, also founders of the bar El Ouiote. This place was the epicentre of the 'dolce vita' of Sant Antoni in the sixties and seventies, when countesses, dukes, peasants, fishermen, adventurers, industrialists, dancers, film-makers, writers and many other fascinating characters lived there.
In those years, Pepe opened several restaurants and also his first nightclub: Capri-Playboy, where an equally unique atmosphere was generated. Space Eat&Dance is now born as a time tunnel, through which to return to the sunsets of that mythical bay and the magic of Space.
This bar, restaurant and cocktail bar is located in one of the most emblematic spaces of music 'Made in Ibiza': the coast of ses Variades. There, as the sun set next to the islet of sa Conillera, the "chill out" and "sunset" culture, so genuinely Ibizan, was born by the hand of José Padilla, and now Space spices up this exciting experience with the only element that was missing: haute cuisine.
At dusk, once ses Variades is transformed into a multitudinous viewpoint of the sunset, Space Eat&Dance gradually mimics the festive atmosphere, while retaining its character as a gastronomic establishment.

Since its inauguration in 1989, Pepe Roselló's constant dedication over more than 27 years has made Space the most awarded club on the planet. The numerous awards received by the club attest to the work and enthusiasm put into the Space project and the love of a public that has been unconditional year after year.
